Motor Decoking ML203 TRUCK
ML203 motor decoking for truck – a strong agent for the carbon and varnish deposits removing, preventing compression loss over 25% of the norm and increased oil consumption in commercial vehicles. The composition effectively frees up stuck piston rings in just 60 minutes and can relieve of the overhaul necessity.
Thanks to LAVR ML203 truck, you can quickly and efficiently clean the cylinder-piston group from heavy contamination and restore compression without resorting to major and expensive engine repairs. The product is ideal for all modern internal combustion engines.
Please, strictly follow use instructions!
How to perform the procedure instruction
- Warm up the motor to operating temperature (at least 70°C).
- Turn the ignition system off. It will prevent damage to the high-voltage part of the ignition system.
- For a gasoline motor - remove the spark plugs. For a diesel motor – remove glow plugs or injectors.
- Align the pistons to a near-center position.
- Pour an equal amount of liquid into each cylinder and close the access holes to form a “vapor bath” in the combustion chambers. The amount of fluid per cylinder is calculated by the formula
,
where V is the amount of liquid per one cylinder, mL; D is the piston diameter, mm; π is constant, equal to 3.14; h is the liquid level above the piston surface, cm. For motors with a vertical arrangement of cylinders or slight tilt, the height of the liquid level (h) can be about 1 cm from the surface of the piston, for V-motors, to compensate for the tilt of the cylinders, the height of the liquid should be 2-3 cm.
- Leave it on for 30 minutes. To clean heavily contaminated motors, increase the time to 60 minutes.
DO NOT INCREASE THE RESIDENCE TIME OF THE COMPOUND IN THE MOTOR AND MINIMIZE OIL CHANGE INTERVAL, BECAUSE THE COMPOUND CAN DAMAGE THE PAINTWORK OF THE CRANKCASE PAN
- Clear the access holes. Remove any residual fluid and blow out the cylinders with compressed air (up to 3 bar). Cover the access holes with a thick cloth to prevent splashing of the compound residues. Fully depress the accelerator pedal and crank the motor shaft with starter 2-3 times for 5 sec.
- Remove any waste oil from the motor as much as possible using the most efficient method for your vehicle. Change the oil filter and fill with new oil.
- Install the dismantled units and parts. Make sure the assembly is correct.
- After cleaning, do not load the motor with high revs for the first 5-10 kilometers.
Sometimes cleaning fluid can expose painted surfaces, which is especially important for the motors with stamped steel crankcase pans. For the motors with internally painted crankcase pans, use the utmost care when cleaning. Make sure that the coating is intact (it is clearly visible that the oil is free from paint particles, when the oil is drained through a metal mesh), and if required, remove and mechanically clean the pan and oil receiver mesh.
Take special care when using the compound for decoking of the motors with extreme wear and heavily contaminated lubrication system
It is recommended to decoke the motor of a commercial vehicle at least once a year.
